News from the 2017 Debs

Jenni L. Walsh is so excited for this upcoming Saturday, where she’ll be speaking at the Writer’s Digest Conference. If you’re attending, I hope you’ll check me out on Saturday at 3pm and 4:15pm! If you haven’t yet registered, get on it!

Tiffany Jackson has her copy edits for book two and is banging away.

Crystal King was super thrilled to meet someone she has admired in the food world for years, Christopher Kimball. She chats with him about FEAST OF SORROW and ancient Rome in this week’s Milk Street Radio podcast!

Amy Poeppel had a wonderful time celebrating her paperback release with the Point Street Reading Series (Thanks to Robin Kall, Emily Homonoff, and Lulu Locks) at Suite Tart in Providence, RI! Such a fun party!

She also went to an event at Books Are Magic in Brooklyn to support Planned Parenthood, drink rose, and talk about books! Here is owner and author Emma Straub talking to the packed house that came out in the rain for this wonderful event.

Lynn K. Hall is finishing a 120-mile ultra-marathon in British Columbia at this very moment! Well, she better be anyway – she’s been training all year for this after all!

Author: Amy Poeppel

Amy Poeppel grew up in Dallas, Texas and left the south to attend Wellesley College. Since then, she has worked as an actor, a high school English teacher, and most recently as the Assistant Director of Admissions at a school in New York City. Her three fabulous boys are all off in Boston attending school, and she and her husband now split their time between New York and Frankfurt, Germany. A theatrical version of SMALL ADMISSIONS was workshopped at the Actors Studio Playwrights/Directors Unit. She later expanded it into her first novel.
