Deb Gail‘s media blitz for Cancer is a Bitch continues! CIAB was included in the “Best Books” column in OK! Magazine as funny and uplifting. On Tuesday at 9 a.m. Gail will be on WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee on the “Morning Blend” show, and later that day will be at a Books and Company event at Sweetie Pies, 45 E. Wisconsin Ave., Oconomowoc, Wisc., for dessert and coffee. Tickets are $5, there is a cash bar, and a percentage of ticket and book sales will be donated to Oconomowoc Women’s Health Center. Gail will be reading at the University Book Store in the Hilldale Shopping Center in Madison, Wisc. on Thursday. On Saturday, Gail will be a guest on a live radio call-in show in Cleves, Ohio called “Let’s Just Talk” on WCVX-AM from 9-9:30 a.m.

Deb Katie is reading Ned Vizzini’s YA-with-a-sci-fi-twist Be More Chill.
Deb Eve is reading graduate Deb Danielle’s Falling Under. Truth be told, Eve is stretching out the last ten pages, because she doesn’t want this book to end. It’s that good!
Deb Kristina is reading the manuscript of Maggie Dana’s forthcoming novel Beachcombing (Macmillan New Writing, June 2009), and wishing she had time to lose herself in it completely instead of reading it in nibbles. Still, enjoyable either way.
