Book #2: An Update

This week on the Ball we’re giving updates on our next projects. While I don’t have much news, I am thrilled to say that my agent sent off a couple chapters and the proposal (outline) for my next book to my editor on Friday. So now I am just neurotically, obsessively waiting to hopefully get a book contract for it. (That’s what I’ve learned the publishing industry is — a lot of waiting. Waiting to hear feedback from your agent, your editor, waiting for your book to come out, waiting for reviews to roll in, waiting for sales numbers. If you’re impatient, like I am, it’s excruciating!)

I also have my idea for Book #3 all ready to go, so as soon as I’m done writing Book #2, I’m going to get cracking on it. I wish I had more exciting news, but that’s it for now. Stay tuned on my FB and Twitter for news of the (hopefully imminent) book deal, title and publication date.
