Crystal King was in Rome, Italy all week, doing research on her second novel, which is set in Renaissance Rome. That included visits to the Farnese, Farnesina and Spada palazzi as well as a trip to Tivoli to see the magnificent Villa d’Este palazzo and gardens. A private guide at the Vatican was able to shed a lot of additional light on the workings of the city. Finally, she also spent some time in the Roman Forum and the Palatine snapping new photos to help with the promotion of FEAST OF SORROW. It will be SO hard for her to go back to the states!

Jenni L. Walsh feels like she’s juggling all the things. She’s hard at work on her new middle grade series, mentoring as part of the Pitch Wars contest, and also dreaming up ideas for her new historical work-in-progress. Soon, she’ll have line edits for BECOMING BONNIE to add to the mix, but she’s excited to cross this step off the “almost published” list!

Tiffany D. Jackson is gearing up to head to Washington D.C for Howard University Homecoming! Meanwhile, there is a Goodreads giveaway for Allegedly all this month! Enter for your chance to win!!!!

Lynn K. Hall thinks you really should click the link above and enter to win Allegedly! Just…trust her. Meanwhile Lynn had a great meeting with her publicist this week. Fingers crossed that possibilities turn into realities!

Amy Poeppel is back in New York today after an amazing trip to Santa Barbara, CA, where she worked on editing her new novel, and Dallas, TX, where she celebrated her dad’s 88th birthday! Big week coming up: This Tuesday is the SMALL ADMISSIONS galley party. (What’s a “galley party,” you ask? Amy has no idea but will fill you in as soon as it happens.) The launch party date/location for SMALL ADMISSIONS is set: January 10th at the fabulous Corner Bookstore in NYC! Be there!

Author: Amy Poeppel

Amy Poeppel grew up in Dallas, Texas and left the south to attend Wellesley College. Since then, she has worked as an actor, a high school English teacher, and most recently as the Assistant Director of Admissions at a school in New York City. Her three fabulous boys are all off in Boston attending school, and she and her husband now split their time between New York and Frankfurt, Germany. A theatrical version of SMALL ADMISSIONS was workshopped at the Actors Studio Playwrights/Directors Unit. She later expanded it into her first novel.
