Thank you to everyone for the well wishes! Now, please send sleep fairies to my house.
Oh Colleen! I was just mid breastfeeding my 1 month old, saw your email pop up and had to laugh at the subject line – then I was blown away at how apt the content was! I’ll keep it short so we both can go back to sleep sometime soon, but yeah, so hearin ya sister! Tfor a post that spoke my thoughts exactly and gave me heaps of warm fuzzies on a day I really needed them. Best of luck!
Congratulations Sophie!! Glad we’re in the same boat. 🙂 Sending lots of sleep fairies to your house too!
PS that T stands for ‘thanks’ i have no idea where hank went… !
This is why I love the Debutante Ball blog! The lovely honesty in reading a post by a woman who is accepting, celebrating and being hopeful about the perpetual state of exhaustion all new mom’s experience. It’s been a few years.. my “baby” just turned 18. But now that I think about it, I’m tired all over again staying up late “waiting” for him to come in at night! Sigh…
Thank you, Dianne! And yes — I just told my husband that it’s going to be 18 years (or more) of sleepless nights. I get panic attacks just thinking of them leaving the house one day! 🙂
Colleen! Hope you get lots of sleep. Wishful thinking, I know. But we can hope. Hang in there!
