News Flash–Summer in the City Edition

Congratulations to Carolyn Merwin Boyer, winner of Karma Brown‘s THE CHOICES WE MAKE!News Flash

Check back next week, where we will announce the winner of this weeks giveaway, Deb Alum Eleanor Brown’s THE LIGHT OF PARIS!

From the 2016 Debs:

Louise Miller is thrilled to share THE CITY BAKER’S GUIDE TO COUNTRY LIVING was chosen as one of the August LibraryReads titles! The book also received a wonderful reviews from Shelf Awareness and Booklist this week. But the best thing? Receiving the first finished hardcover-copy of her novel! Thrilling and emotional.

Jennifer S. Brown had a quiet week filled with research and writing and more research. Did you know that William Howard Taft is the only person to have served as both U.S. president and chief justice of the Supreme Court? If you didn’t know, now you know.

Heather Young just emerged from five days of backpacking in the Canadian Rockies with her family. It rained pretty much the whole time, but was fabulous anyway. Though she will never eat dehydrated burritos again.

IMG_4790Abby Fabiaschi’s galleys arrived! They are headed into the wild. Fingers crossed that advanced readers are in good moods. And maybe a bit tipsy.

Aya de Leon finished a marathon week of pitching journalists to cover UPTOWN THIEF. Her efforts, combined with that of her publicists netted two interviews this week. Now she’s just relieved and looking forward to her launch. We are unable to substantiate rumors that she is shopping for a bra that is not designed for nursing.
