So Many Thanks To My Book Village

This Thanksgiving week, the Debutantes are expressing their thanks.

Like Crystal mentioned in her post, the acknowledgments at the end of BECOMING BONNIE are going to give some specific shout outs, but on this day of thanks I wanted to acknowledge the fact that this book has been touched by so many wonderful people and groups.

While writing a novel can be solitary at times, I’ve been extremely fortunate to be surrounded by my agent extraordinaire Stacey Glick, my literary agency Dystel, Goderich & Bourett, my amazing editor Bess Cozby, the whole team at Tor/Forge, my book bestie Carolyn Menke, the Pitch Wars family, the Kick-Butt Kid Lit gals, my 17Scribes family, amazing critique partners and author friends, the sweetest blogger and twitter friends, a supportive husband and family, and last but not least, the other wonderful Debutante gals.

I didn’t get here alone. Thank you, thank you, my village!

Author: Jenni L. Walsh

Jenni L. Walsh spent her early years chasing around cats, dogs, and chickens in Philadelphia's countryside, before dividing time between a soccer field and a classroom at Villanova University. She put her marketing degree to good use as an advertising copywriter, zip-code hopping with her husband to DC, NYC, NJ, and not surprisingly, back to Philly. There, Jenni's passion for words continued, adding author to her resume. She now balances her laptop with a kid on each hip, and a four-legged child at her feet. BECOMING BONNIE (Tor Forge/Macmillan, 5/9/2017) is her debut novel that tells the untold story of how church-going Bonnelyn Parker becomes half of the infamous Bonnie and Clyde duo during the 1920s. SIDE BY SIDE, telling Bonnie and Clyde's crime spree story, will be released in the summer of 2018. Please learn more about Jenni's books at jennilwalsh.com.
