News from the Class of 2019 Debs:

K.A. Doore found out final edits for Book 3 aka the Unconquered City was accepted this week!! Which means: she’s done writing this trilogy! BOOYAH.
Devi S. Laskar is part of the “Author Hustle” panel this afternoon as part of the Litquake Writers Weekend in SF! Bay Area folks, join if you can! Also, today at 5p PST, check out my radio interview on Bibliocracy at KPFK 90.7 in SoCal. Thanks very much to Jaideep Sen & The New Indian Express for the lovely interview and discussion of The Atlas of Reds and Blues
Layne Fargo is avoiding all adult responsibilities and celebrating Star Wars this weekend. Back to real life next week!
Stephanie Jimenez is fascinated by the fact that you can now “look inside” her novel on Amazon. Also, she will be doing a reading soon with fellow novelists Susan Bernhard and Melissa Rivero in NYC. Come celebrate my first time reading as an *author*!
Martine Fournier Watson had an amazing week, of course, and her mom came into town for the launch of The Dream Peddler! There is a long list of people to thank this week: Lara Lillibridge for her interview on her blog and for setting up a GIVEAWAY (go check it out), Kendra Clearly for a beautiful review of the book on Hypable, Kelly Moore for her review on her blog kellywellread, and Dan Stout for posting an interview on his website as well. If she has left anyone else out, she’ll list next week when her brain has stopped spinning…

She also has an article on Electric Literature this week, 7 Novels About Dreams That Reveal Hidden Desires or Dark Fears, if that kind of thing interests you.

See you next week when we blog about the financial realities of writing.
