News from the 2018 Debs:
Julie Clark has a finished first draft and is trying to rewrite it at least once before her first pass pages come back from the publisher. It’s insane.
Kaitlyn Sage Patterson has finally seen a picture of her ARC in the wild and is definitely not freaking out about it. Not even a little. Not at all.
Cass Morris says, “No, you spent all week writing Star Trek fanfic rather than drafting something useful.”
Kimmery Martin was enjoying a glamorous trip to SoCal, convinced she’d accomplish quite a bit on her WIP amidst the palm trees. What actually happened is her children barfed 30,127 times and she spent her nights awake on a bathroom floor. Motherhood.
Lara Lillibridge learned that chickens can fly up onto a roof if they have a compelling reason. However, she did not learn what constituted a compelling reason for a chicken to do so.
See you next week when we talk about first drafts.
