News from the Class of 2019 Debs:

K.A. Doore is participating in National Novel Writing Month and enjoying autumn’s last gasp of color in mid-Michigan.
Devi S. Laskar has entered the 2018 NaNoWriMo fray (National Novel Writing Month) as well —  and working on book 2, at the intersection of Mrs. Dalloway, The Hours and Leaving Yuba City.
Layne Fargo is participating in National Novel Writing Month too, testing out a new psych thriller project. She’s also very excited for the season premiere of Outlander tonight!
Stephanie Jimenez is also doing National Novel Writing Month (barely) and is reading a lot of obscure books and magazines she wouldn’t read otherwise if it weren’t for “research” purposes. She also just started reading Kelly Link and wants to know how to write like Kelly Link, so pls, if you know, let me know.
Martine Fournier Watson is not participating in NanoWriMo because she hates it. But she is still working on book two, which is currently over one hundred and six thousand words long, so that’s TWO NanoWriMos.

See you next week when we blog about writing through distractions (just in time for Election Day!).
