News Flash: Box of VINTAGE, Wordcrafters, and Audio Books

Congrats to Christina, who won a copy of WHEN PATTY WENT AWAY by guest author Jeannie Burt!

From the 2014 Debs…

Heather Webb has disappeared into her editing cave and has barely emerged all week. Her family is starting to wonder if her fingers are glued to her keyboard. Alas, RODIN’S LOVER awaits.

Lisa Alber had a fabulous week at the inaugural Wordcrafters in Eugene writing retreat and conference. First came the retreat with NYT bestselling author Susan Wiggs (Lisa worked on Clare Mystery #2), then came the conference in which Lisa saw her first copies of KILMOON on sale—and they sold out!! She signed books for the first time, and she presented as a for-realz author for the first time too. Awesome all the way around!

Lori Rader-Day attends the Public Library Association Conference in Indianapolis next week. Come by the Random House booth or the Sisters in Crime booth to say hi. (And snag the first signed ARCs of THE BLACK HOUR!)

Natalia Sylvester heard that the audiobook recording of CHASING THE SUN got wrapped up this week! It’s narrated by the very talented Peter Berkrot, who’s also the voice behind novels by Dean Koontz and Nora Roberts. She can’t wait to listen to it.
