Deb Dish — Favorite Holiday Story

Deb Erika I’ve always been a big fan of reading A Christmas Carol–growing up I used to read it aloud with my mom every holiday–but as I am also a TV and movie junkie, I must include the holy trinity of Christmas Specials: Rudolph, Charlie Brown and The Grinch. You know you want to dance:

Deb Linda Okay, I’m going to take that to mean my favorite non-personal story (because no way am I going  to tell you guys about that time under the Christmas tree when TG and I…um, yeah, never mind). So my favorite holiday story is officially A Christmas Story, which is a classic holiday movie. I mean, who doesn’t love Ralphie, and wish him well on his quest for a Red Rider BB gun? And here’s one of my favorite scenes (it’s the “Oh, fuuuudge” scene, for those of you familiar with the film):

  1. Yay, Rachel! I can’t wait to read your book!!!

I love the Peanuts kids! Thanks for the trip down nostalgia lane, Erika. And I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve never seen A CHRISTMAS STORY, but it’s going on my TBW list. I blame my mom for not exposing me to that one early on. 😛
