News Flash, November 9

Founder Deb Tish Cohen‘s novel The Invisible Rules of Zoe Lama is set to become a live-action TV series from Canadian producer 9 Story Entertainment, aiming at a September 2009 or January 2010 airdate! And if that isn’t enough, she’s landed a new book deal, this one for her young adult debut titled Little Black Lies, about a teenage girl who enters a school for brilliant, entitled students — as her father is hired by the same school as the new janitor, sold to Regina Griffin at Egmont, and Lynne Missen at HarperCanada. Congratulations, Tish!

Deb Meredith has been invited to participate in the Virginia Festival of the Book in March, and is excited to be going back to her hometown for the event.

Deb Danielle (of 2008) is being featured at two great book sites this week.

First, Anna Horner at Diary of an Eccentric has posted an excerpt of Falling Under and an interview. She’s also given the book a fabulous review and is giving away a free, signed copy to one lucky winner. Check it all out, here.

Second, head on over to author (and guest deb) Jessica Brody’s brilliant new site, Free Book Friday this Friday, November 16th, where you’ll be able to hear a podcast interview of Danielle win a free copy of Falling Under.
