Congrats to Morgan, who won a signed copy of THE GIRL WHO CAME HOME from Hazel Gaynor!
Natalia Sylvester confirmed two readings/signings for the launch week of CHASING THE SUN! She’ll be reading at Austin-based indie, The Book Spot, on Thursday, June 5 and at Books & Books in Miami on Saturday, June 7. More details soon!
Heather Webb enjoyed a dry Bordeaux in celebration of her editor’s enthusiasm for her upcoming novel, RODIN’S LOVER. Looks like book two is on its way!
Lisa Alber is having an off week. Her wee pup, Luna the One-Eyed Wonder Dog, is near the end (cancer). Lisa’s been thinking a lot about the next novel, but not doing anything about it. Oh, but Pam Stack of the popular Authors on the Air radio program contacted Lisa to set up an interview, which is great. (Next week she’ll get excited about it though.)
Susan Gloss had fun talking style and signing books at Madison boutique The Velvet Button on Saturday, co-sponsored by indie bookstore Mystery to Me.
Lori Rader-Day is reading books for the panel she’s moderating at Malice Domestic next month. On Saturday, April 19, she’ll be hanging at PCA/ACA in Chicago. The topic is “What makes Chicago a good place for a murder?” She hopes they mean in books.
Everyone give a thought to Lisa this week as she says good-bye to sweet little Luna?
Lisa: So sorry to hear. That’s a rough place to be in, I know.
Thanks, Anthony. It’s strange and lonely without our daily rituals. I actually sent her off yesterday.
((((((((hugs)))))))), Lisa!
Thanks, Heather.
Lisa: you have my condolences. Look forward to reading your new book.
