This week I said so long to my son as he headed off for his senior year of college and farewell to my daughter as she began her journey as a freshman.
And now this?
Saying good bye to The Debutante Ball comes with mixed emotions of moving forward to new things while losing the familiar.
Isn’t that always the way?
So where do I turn to in times of need, strife, sorrow, jubilation and change?
Just click here and find out.
See you in cyberspace, friends. I will miss you all.
Amy xo
Amy, I can hardly believe we are saying goodbye to all of you and about to ring in a new group of glorious Debs. I hope this year of your debut has been everything you imagined (and more!). Of course, the best part is sharing the journey with friends. Here’s to seeing you down the road, lady! Hugs! E.
It was amazing!!! And you were part of the reason!!! xoxo
I’m only saying good-bye to your posts, not you!
Absolutely! I look forward to being part of everything that happens with the new Debs!
So long, Amy! Remember, the Internet means never having to say goodbye.
Stay awesome! 🙂
You’re so right. And this is when that will be a GOOD thing!
Thanks, Amy. It’s a great song to wake up to as well as for seeing someone off on their next adventure. Best wishes for your writing career!
Thank you, Robyn! I couldn’t resist that song!
I will continue to see you over at Women’s Fiction Writers. I always read it with my morning coffee!
Aww, thank you, Susan! I’m waiting impatiently for your book and can’t wait to have you on WFW!
Is there anything a little Julie Andrews doesn’t make better? Auf wiedersein, my dear! See you in the funny papers!
MWAH!!!!
It’s not good-bye! It’s just…see you around! Congratulations on a wonderful deb year, Amy. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you (already so excited to read your next book; is it 2014 or 2015 that it comes out?) And thank you and the other Debs SO much for the amazing opportunity to be part of the 2014. We haven’t even started yet but I already know what you mean by what a wonderful group of friends and support they are.
I’m so glad you’re excited and ready for all of it, Natalia! My next book comes out in 2015 (it’s untitled, haha, so I just call it ‘that book’) so I’ll have to nudge the NEXT Deb class for a spot on their calendar, won’t I? That seems so far away but time does have a way of passing. You’ll love being a Deb more and more. And of course I’ll see you here, there, and everywhere! xoxo
I’m with Natalia here – it’s not goodbye, it’s just farewell for now. Can’t wait to hear what you have coming in 2015!
Me too, Susan. Oh, I mean, thanks!! 😉
