From the 2011 Debs…

Deb Eleanor and Friend of the Debs Erin Blakemore will be appearing at The Book Haven in Salida, CO this Thursday at 5:30. Road trip, here we come!

Deb Kim had a fantastic dinner with my husband Mark and former Deb Jenny Gardiner at Bobby Flay’s Cafe Americain in NYC on Thursday. Jenny was in town for RWA. Tried to see Tawna but she had a fancy shmancy Sourcebooks party that night.

Deb Tawna spent the past week in New York City attending the annual conference for the Romance Writers of America. She was delighted to meet all sorts of authors much cooler than she is, but the biggest highlight of all was meeting her agent for the first time in 3 1/2 years of working together. Michelle Wolfson of Wolfson Literary was every bit as fabulous as Deb Tawna imagined she would be!

Deb Elise is gearing up for a MAJOR birthday this week (Wednesday, to be specific).  How major?  Let’s see… she remembers riding a school bus rocking out to Prince’s 1999, and having her mind blown when she realized she’d be in her twenties then!  Oh, in case you’re wondering what she wants for her birthday… pre-orders of Populazzi are the best gift ever!

Friends of the Debs

Congratulations to Molly Harper for her RITA Contemporary Single Title Romance nomination for the hilarious And One Last Thing! She’s right up there with Nora Roberts and Jill Shalvis!

Deb Dish — What the Debs are Doing for the Fourth of July

Deb Elise

Santa Barbara, baby, where friends and fireworks await!  And if I’m lucky, I’ll get to do some stand-up paddleboarding!!!!

Deb Eleanor

Celebrating my cat’s birthday! Chester is 15 years young and we are ridiculously devoted to him.

Deb Kim

Easy home stuff. My sister is visiting my folks in Mass next weekend so we’ll pop up for an overnight. Brother is coming from DC too. We don’t all get a chance to see each other at once often, and Dad is 88 so we grab every chance. Girls start summer services on the 5th. AMEN!

Deb Sarah

Hanging with the fam! My husband looooves fireworks, so he’s going to put on a little “show” for the kids. And, I’ll be prepping the manuscript of my third novel for my agent to read. Excited to send the completed draft to her soon!

Deb Tawna

I’m lucky enough to live smack dab at the top of a hill that boasts the best view in town of our local fireworks display. I’ll be enjoying that from my back deck with a nice glass of wine in hand and a bunch of good friends around me. Since I’m just returning from a week in New York City for the national conference of the Romance Writers of America, I doubt I’ll have energy for much more than that.
