Thank you so much to yesterday’s guest, Jacinda Townsend, Author of SAINT MONKEY!

News from the 2018 Debs:

Kaitlyn Sage Patterson got her advanced reader copies in the mail and will be wallowing in bed with her books until further notice. If you’d like a chance to win an ARC of THE DIMINISHED for your very own, head over to Kaitlyn’s Twitter and enter her giveaway!

Cass Morris won Nano! She now has roughly 35k of new material to synthesize into Book 2, as well as about 15k of new material on that space opera she swears she’ll finish drafting someday. She’s looking forward to getting her copy edits back for review this week, is determined to finish a draft of Book 2 by the end of the month, and is, in general, excited that there are only 28 days left of 2017.

Lara Lillibridge got her galleys this week and she keeps flipping through the pages in wonder.

Kimmery Martin is reading RIGHTEOUS, the followup to Joe Ides’ brilliant debut debut novel IQ; she’s also typing this at 2:00 in the morning after traveling to be with her beloved group of med school girlfriends.

Julie Clark What I’m working on: My first pass pages. What I’m reading: Clarissa Goenawan’s RAINBIRDS, releasing in March 2018. You don’t want to miss this one, folks.

See you next week when we talk about our different paths to publication.

Author: Julie Clark

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie Clark grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach. She now lives there with her two young sons and a golden doodle with poor impulse control. Her debut, THE ONES WE CHOOSE, will be published by Gallery/Simon & Schuster in May 2018.
