Lisa Alber adopted a sweet Chihuahua / terrier mix from the Oregon Humane Society. Her name is Fawn, and if you didn’t catch Friday’s blog post, you can see pictures of her here. Back to her writing routines next week!

She also had spot in Writers Digest’s Breaking In column, interviews with The Big Thrill and Crimespree Magazine, and guest posts at Criminal Minds and 2013 Deb Susan Spann’s blog. Next week is launch week and Thrillerfest in New York!

(Long live print!) She also confirmed two more events: a reading in Houston, Tx on August 9 and one in Brooklyn on August 16!

Heather Webb sent off her first pass pages (otherwise known as the very final read) of Rodin’s Lover, which releases next January. She also found out some exciting news about an upcoming TV appearance that she can’t wait to spill.
