From the 2015 Debs…

Colleen Oakley found out she’s having twins! Which adds an entirely extra layer of pressure on completing her second book by December. She’s also finalizing the details of her book launch party in Atlanta on Jan. 6. To attend or get more information, follow her on Facebook.

Amy E. Reichert received some awesome news that she can’t share yet (trust me, she wants to tell you). She’s optimistic she’ll have copyedits to work on soon, and maybe a cover to ooh and ahh over – until then, she’s blocking out some chunks of time to start editing her WIP (work-in-progress).

Karma Brown is in awe of the team at MIRA — and has an even greater appreciation for copyeditors. This weekend she’s celebrating handing her copyedits in, hitting the quarter mark on book two, and seeing her final cover concept (which is stunning!). She’s also turning another year wiser, which means cake is in her immediate future — and it’s always a good day when there’s cake.

Sona Charaipotra is head down, nose-to-the-grindstone, hard at work at book two — which has a quickly approaching Nov. 1 deadline. Happily, she and writing partner Dhonielle have discovered the miraculous new Office 365, which allows both writers to work on the same document on their respective Macs (in different places!) simultaneously! Yes, you read that right — at the same time! And it even syncs said doc on all devices — computers, iPads, phones, etc., on the cloud, so you’ll always have the latest version. Good news, indeed.

Shelly King is still in the glow of her book launch, attending several book launch parties and singings in Santa Cruz, CA and Pine, AZ next week. She’s also thrilled to start seeing the covers and translated titles for the foreign versions of The Moment of Everything. She’ll be sharing those new covers soon!
