News Flash: (More) Revisions, (More) Writing & a BIG Deb giveaway!

newsCongratulations to Christy Staude, winner of THE PERFECT SON by Barbara Claypole White!

Check back next Sunday for this week’s winner of our BIG summer DEB BALL reading pack (THE MOMENT OF EVERYTHING, BEFORE I GO, TINY PRETTY THINGS, THE COINCIDENCE OF COCONUT CAKE, COME AWAY WITH ME) … Simply leave a comment below to be entered to win!

From the 2015 Debs:

Colleen Oakley hates when other people do this, but she got some ridiculously exciting news about BEFORE I GO this week— and she can’t share it yet!! Stayed tuned on her Facebook for an announcement soon…

Amy E. Reichert went to a printing plant in Fairfield, PA to see her book printed and bound. The experience was amazing. There is nothing quite like seeing an entire palette of books with your name on it. And the kiddos finished school for the year, so she needs to figure out how to balance time with them and work.

Karma Brown is digging back into one last round of {thankfully light} revisions on book 2 (line edit stage, which means we are oh-so-close to being finished with editorial!), and is grateful there are still two weeks of school left to finish said revisions before summer break (aka Mommy Camp) starts.

Sona Charaipotra

Shelly King is still trying to get over a mild case of pneumonia. Take out stock in Ricola folks. She’s going through a bag a day of the Lemon Mint variety.

From past Debs:

Lisa Alber (Class of 2014) is celebrating because she landed a new agent, Jill Marsal of the Marsal Lyon Literary Agency, who just sold Lisa’s next two County Clare mysteries to Midnight Ink. Lisa is so happy she can’t think straight! (Congrats, Lisa!)

Author: Karma Brown

Karma Brown is the author of COME AWAY WITH ME (MIRA/Harlequin, September 2015), an emotional story of one woman’s discovery that life is still worth living, even if it’s not the life you planned. Karma is also a National Magazine award-winning journalist, and lives outside Toronto, Canada, with her family and their mischievous labradoodle puppy, Fred.
