Okay, before we got to our news this week, we’d like to introduce you to the Deb class of 2016! Now, you’ll still be stuck with us for another few weeks, but then we’ll be passing the baton (and posts, and news flashes, and publishing news fun…) over to the following debutantes: Aya de Leon, Abby Fabiaschi, Heather Young, Jennifer Brown, and Louise Miller. Thank you to all who applied — it was a tough and tight run this year, and we only wish there were more days in the week! We’ll more formally introduce our class of 2016 soon. Congratulations, ladies!

From the 2015 Debs:

Colleen Oakley has officially sent her pages and proposal for book #2 off to her editor! If you need her, she’ll be binge-eating nervously in the corner as she waits for news.

Amy E. Reichert is so excited for the new class of Debs!!! She’s revising book 2 and trying to squeeze out a bit more fun with the kids before they go back to school in a few weeks.

Karma Brown is excited book 2 has an official title — BECAUSE OF YOU — and can’t believe it’s almost COME AWAY WITH ME’s book birthday (TWO WEEKS! What?!) She will be joining Colleen as they binge eat nervously in the corner…

Sona Charaipotra is trying to let go of the ballerinas (now that Book 2 is in copyedits!) and get her head into her WIP. But with peach ice cream and paddling pools beckoning, it ain’t easy.

Shelly King is writing, writing, writing and trying not update her website anymore instead of writing.
