News Flash: Summer fun, Writing fun, & a Giveaway!

newsCongratulations to Vickie P. and Carol Boyer, winners of guest author Adria Cimino’s PARIS, RUE DES MARTYRS e-books!

Check back next Sunday for the winner of guest author Vicki Lesage’s CONFESSIONS OF A PARIS PARTY GIRL

From the 2015 Debs:

Colleen Oakley is excited that she’s been asked to speak at the Decatur Book Festival on a panel with Patti Callahan Henry! For all of her upcoming appearances, check out the events page on her website.

Amy E. Reichert is scrambling to finish revisions by Friday. She can do it, she can do it (or at least she keeps telling herself that). COCONUT CAKE is doing well out in the wild. She loves to see pictures of coconut cakes that people make using the recipe!

Karma Brown is still in summer mode (writing? what’s writing?) with the family, and can’t believe that in just over a week COME AWAY WITH ME will be out in the wild!

Sona Charaipotra is trying to find writing time while spending the last few weeks of summer hanging with the littles. Today? A big homemade brunch and a stack of picture books — and maybe a little grown-up reading, too, if time allows.

Shelly King is writing, writing, writing and recovering from her annual pool party. But writing.

Author: Karma Brown

Karma Brown is the author of COME AWAY WITH ME (MIRA/Harlequin, September 2015), an emotional story of one woman’s discovery that life is still worth living, even if it’s not the life you planned. Karma is also a National Magazine award-winning journalist, and lives outside Toronto, Canada, with her family and their mischievous labradoodle puppy, Fred.

  1. I am so delighted to be a winner of PARIS: RUE DES MARTYRS! Thanks to Adria, and to Amy and Colleen who have helped me get this book downloaded. I am new to all of this wonderful experience of connecting with new authors through Debutante Ball and Facebook. I am happily reading about the scenes of Paris, and dream that I am there, which is just only one reason why I love this book Adria! The characters have me intrigued from the first few pages! Thank you so much and I will share this with my friends!
