NEWS FLASH–Endless Summer Edition

newsCongratulations to Anna Lee Huber, winner of Lisa Alber’s WHISPERS IN THE MIST!

Check back next week, where we will announce the winner of this weeks giveaway, Deb Kelly’s THE MATCHMAKER OF MINNOW BAY!

From the 2016 Debs:

Louise Miller is still in her post launch glow. She is excited to have book events scheduled every week from now through October. Check out her events page on her website to see if she is reading near you!

Jennifer S. Brown is on vacation in (don’t be jealous!) Sicily with her family, as you can probably tell from her Instagram feed. She is reading and eating and exploring and enjoying some solid quality time with her family, who is probably wishing for a bit less quality time and a lot more Xbox time.

Heather Young, now that her daughter is safely ensconced at college, is turning in earnest to her second novel, LOVELOCK. She hopes to send the first three chapters and a synopsis (!!) to her agent by September 6, so it’s well past time to get cracking.

Abby Fabiaschi is in awe that people she doesn’t know are rating I LIKED MY LIFE on goodreads. Her last pass edit is done; events are being planned. T-5 months to publication!

Aya de Leon taped a great interview with KALW radio this week and will also be appearing on the CBS local affiliate KBCW show Black Renaissance. Meanwhile, she is back in the classroom, teaching poetry, spoken word, and pedagogy.

Louise Miller is the author of THE CITY BAKER'S GUIDE TO COUNTRY LIVING (Pamela Dorman Books/Viking/August 9, 2016), the story of a commitment-phobic pastry chef who discovers the meaning of belonging while competing in the cut-throat world of Vermont county fair baking contests.
