News from the 2018 Debs:

Lara Lillibridge learned that the release weeks of her friends are just as exciting as her own. She was more than happy to step out of the limelight. She also filed all her taxes, including the page her cat yakked on.

Kimmery Martin is on the road again. Her report: Houston is massive and full of gracious people. Next up: Atlanta!

Julie Clark would love for you to join her Book Club for The Ones We Choose on Facebook!

Kaitlyn Sage Patterson is completely overwhelmed with the love and support of family, friends, and readers. It’s been a surreal experience, and she’s filled with gratitude.

Cass Morris spent the past week back in Staunton doing contract work for the American Shakespeare Center during a week of leadership programming, which she enjoys so very much. She’s spending this weekend trying not to utterly freak out about the fact that From Unseen Fire releases on Tuesday. Calm her nerves by sending her gifs and cat pictures on Twitter, liking her gratuitous IG posts, or saying nice things about From Unseen Fire on Goodreads.

See you next week when we celebrate Cass’s release!!!

Author: Julie Clark

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie Clark grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach. She now lives there with her two young sons and a golden doodle with poor impulse control. Her debut, THE ONES WE CHOOSE, will be published by Gallery/Simon & Schuster in May 2018.
