News from the Class of 2019 Debs:

K.A. Doore is basking in the non-deadline glow and working on three short stories at once, even though she swore up and down she’d never write a short story. Whoops.
Devi S. Laskar is prepping for two events this week: On Wednesday, April 24, she will be reading from and discussing The Atlas of Reds and Blues at OurVoicesOurStoriesSF with friends; and on Friday, April 26, she will be featured in Stories on Stage in Sacramento.
Layne Fargo became a homeowner this week! She’s looking forward to setting up her new office (and then getting caught up on all her work, oh god there’s so much…)
Stephanie Jimenez
Martine Fournier Watson was very excited to be interviewed by Caroline Donahue for The Secret Library Podcast! If you’re in the mood, you can tune in to hear her rambling about The Dream Peddler, how she handled an editing curveball, and more.

She also has an article on the Women Writers website about writing slowly, and interviews for The Qwillery, Inked Voices, and author Sharon Wray.

See you next week when we blog about our favorite indie bookstores in honor of Independent Bookstore Day!
