News from the Class of 2019 Debs:

K.A. Doore is definitely not counting down the days to her release and instead diligently putting every spare moment toward editing book 3. Of course she is.
Devi S. Laskar is in Winston-Salem, NC, today participating in the 7th annual A Movable Feast, sponsored by the great indie bookstore Bookmarks. She’ll be giving a talk and reading 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Anderson University and be back in her hometown 7 p.m. Wednesday, reading at Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill. The readings in Anderson and Chapel Hill are free and open to the public.
Layne Fargo is cheering on her insanely talented Pitch Wars mentee Halley Sutton in the Agent Showcase this week!
Stephanie Jimenez is so happy that Joyland will be publishing her odd little story “Ocean Jumper” this week. She is looking forward to sharing it with you all.
Martine Fournier Watson is still marveling at how few school days her kids have had these last few weeks in Michigan. Trading her latest manuscript with critique partners and drinking lots of tea.

See you next week when we share what we love most about our debut novels and writing in general.
