News from the Class of 2019 Debs:

K.A. Doore is staying indoors this weekend as the temperature continues to head toward negative Too Effing Cold. But that’s okay; she can spend any free time between chasing stir-crazy Toddlers and balancing household chaos staring at the pretty that is the cover of her second book, which went live this week.
Devi S. Laskar is spending the weekend typing, trying to finish another essay and trying to write another chapter of Book 2. Thanks to Soniah Kamal & AJC for the lovely book review! Check out the new audiobook cover and listen to the sample on HighBridge. The Atlas of Reds and Blues comes out Feb. 5.
Layne Fargo celebrated her partner’s birthday by completing her single day of cooking for the year (there may have been a small kitchen fire…) and also going on a fun day trip to Milwaukee.
Stephanie Jimenez is snowboarding this weekend for the 4th time ever and appreciates tips about how go ~toe side~ without feeling like she’s going to fall and die. This week, she’s deciding to work on her second novel again, after losing sight of her goal for a while. Productivity is hard, folks.
Martine Fournier Watson received her first trade review for The Dream Peddler from Kirkus, and they were very kind, describing it as “gorgeous and carefully paced, with subtle tensions among the townspeople and lush descriptions of the natural world.” She’s very grateful!

See you next week when we blog about self-promotion and building our personal brands.
