News from the 2018 Debs:

Julie Clark had a full week of book clubs, and enjoyed meeting so many of the readers who loved The Ones We Choose.

Kaitlyn Sage Patterson has been binging on regency romances all week and isn’t mad about it. If you have any good suggestions, hit a girl up.

Cass Morris would like to invite all Harry Potter fans who follow the Deb Ball to consider attending MISTI-Con next July! It’s an intimate and immersive event — and this year, she’ll be serving as Lit Chair for the programming team.

Lara Lillibridge fulfilled her life-long dream of riding a mechanical bull, although this one was floating and not mechanical.

Kimmery Martin is back in the mountains and, for the first time all summer, had an entire day free to write.

See you next week when we talk about the research we did for our books.

Author: Julie Clark

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie Clark grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach. She now lives there with her two young sons and a golden doodle with poor impulse control. Her debut, THE ONES WE CHOOSE, will be published by Gallery/Simon & Schuster in May 2018.
