News from the 2018 Debs:

Kaitlyn Sage Patterson is so excited to join Tracy Banghart at Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh, NC for the launch of her novel, GRACE AND FURY next Saturday! She hopes to see some Deb Ball readers there!

Cass Morris has untangled many problems with Book Two of the Aven Cycle! Unfortunately in doing so she may’ve made this book about 60k longer than it ought to be. More on that tomorrow… In the meantime, she’s looking forward to taking a few days away for a trip to Raleigh with her gentleman!

Lara Lillibridge went on a road trip with her kids. It’s the longest she’s not written since…ever. Now it’s time to catch up on everything that fell by the wayside, including writing, reading, and laundry.

Kimmery Martin will be speaking at the Writers Digest Conference in New York City in a couple of weeks and would love to meet you.

Julie Clark is enjoying the slow days of summer and trying not to think about going back to work in the fall.

See you next week when we talk about our next books.

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie Clark grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach. She now lives there with her two young sons and a golden doodle with poor impulse control. Her debut, THE ONES WE CHOOSE, will be published by Gallery/Simon & Schuster in May 2018.
