News from the 2018 Debs:

Julie Clark is doing an event today in San Diego! Adventures by the Book is hosting it’s first ever Book Club Bingo! She will be lunching and speaking on a panel and signing books alongside some of her favorite authors (Jenna Blum! Janelle Brown! Laura Dave! Susan Meissner! Kate Quinn! Former Deb Natalia Sylvester! AND MORE!)…and it’s not too late to register if you’re in the San Diego area! Click here for more details.

Kaitlyn Sage Patterson has had a rough week, but she’s trucking on ahead with her WIP and figuring things out.

Cass Morris has checked a lot of things off her to-do list this week, and yet somehow feels like she’s not managed to do anything productive at all.

Lara Lillibridge is waiting to hear back from several people this week, namely her editor, a few of her beta readers, and the clarinet repair shop. While she’s waiting, she’s cleaning random things: her inbox, the drawer of batteries, and the top of the dryer.

Kimmery Martin fulfilled a lifelong dream by speaking at Parnassus, Ann Patchett’s fabled bookstore this week.

Author: Julie Clark

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie Clark grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach. She now lives there with her two young sons and a golden doodle with poor impulse control. Her debut, THE ONES WE CHOOSE, will be published by Gallery/Simon & Schuster in May 2018.
