News from the 2018 Debs:

Lara Lillibridge is in full-on editing mode—at least in-between baseball games. And figure skating lessons. And clarinet lessons. And guitar lessons. Luckily, her laptop is very portable and her kids mostly patient.

Kimmery Martin is working her way through a big stacks of arcs from Book Expo and enjoying them tremendously.

Julie Clark had a blast meeting readers and other authors at Novel Network’s Book Club Bingo launch party! She was especially thrilled to connect with former Deb Natalia Sylvester.

Kaitlyn Sage Patterson had a fabulous time at the Memphis Literary Arts Festival this weekend and is inspired to get back to writing.

Cass Morris wrote the penultimate scene of Book Three this weekend. No, she hasn’t finished Book Two yet. But that’s okay because she’s pretty excited about finding the pathway to utterly wrecking readers.

See you next week when we talk about our perfect day.

Author: Julie Clark

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie Clark grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach. She now lives there with her two young sons and a golden doodle with poor impulse control. Her debut, THE ONES WE CHOOSE, will be published by Gallery/Simon & Schuster in May 2018.
