K.A. Doore is picking strawberries and chasing bumblebees with her Toddler. She’s also gearing up for Camp NaNoWriMo, which starts July 1st! If you have a writing project you need to finish, or get started on, why not join her?
Devi S. Laskar is knee-deep in an essay. Thanks so much to Hoopla Digital for including The Atlas of Reds and Blues in its summer reading list round-up. Thanks again to Kamil Ahsan for including the novel in The AV Club reading list and for placing the Second Midnight excerpt of the novel in the Barrelhouse Magazine Desi Road Trip issue. The Atlas of Reds and Blues will be the Amazon Kindle Deal of the Day July 9.
Layne Fargo can’t believe her book will be out in the world THIS WEEK! Last week she geared up for the launch by sharing some of the real Chicago locations in Temper. This week she’s looking forward to eating book-shaped cake and celebrating with family and friends at her favorite bookstore, Women & Children First.

Martine Fournier Watson had the chance to Skype with a book club of her old Texas friends this week! She continues to be amazed at all the support she’s had from people who haven’t laid eyes on her in years.
