News from the 2018 Debs:

Cass Morris moved! She’s back in her hometown of Richmond for a while. She also has a giveaway running on Rafflecopter until Tuesday! Enter now for your chance at a signed ARC of From Unseen Fire (which ohsweetJuno comes out in one month!).

Lara Lillibridge was quite surprised to learn that Amazon shipped early to everyone who preordered Girlish. In the past few days, pictures of Girlish in the wild have started appearing on social media, which is totally exciting and also more than slightly terrifying, as this means that there is no going back, no further corrections can be made. It is out of her hands and in the world—now it’s time to step back and see how it fairs on its own.

Kimmery Martin got one of those orange banners on Amazon! For about a minute.

Julie Clark – Eight weeks left until publication! So grateful to early readers who are loving The Ones We Choose, and leaving reviews on Goodreads and NetGalley.

Kaitlyn Sage Patterson is at Madcap’s Writing Cross-Culturally Retreat and soaking in all the brilliance she’s surrounded by this weekend. If you haven’t yet attended one of Madcap’s retreats, check them out here.

See you next week when we talk about the importance of NOT writing.

Author: Julie Clark

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie Clark grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach. She now lives there with her two young sons and a golden doodle with poor impulse control. Her debut, THE ONES WE CHOOSE, will be published by Gallery/Simon & Schuster in May 2018.
