News from the 2018 Debs:

Lara Lillibridge finished her edits and suddenly this book feels a lot more real, which is both horrendously exciting and horribly terrifying.

Kimmery Martin’s novel The Queen of Hearts was named to two exciting lists this week. You can see them here and here.

Julie Clark has a final cover that she will show you very, very soon!

Kaitlyn Sage Patterson is still hard at work on Book 2! She hopes you’ll forgive her. 😉

Cass Morris is pleased both to have stayed on-par with NaNoWriMo for the month thus far and to have learned that From Unseen Fire is on its way to copy edits! She also has a secret in the works for which she requests crossed fingers.

See you next week when we talk about writing contests.

Author: Julie Clark

Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie Clark grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach. She now lives there with her two young sons and a golden doodle with poor impulse control. Her debut, THE ONES WE CHOOSE, will be published by Gallery/Simon & Schuster in May 2018.
