Drum roll please!! It’s launch week for Yodassa Williams

It’s finally time! Yodassa Williams is the next of this year’s Debs to step out onto the ballroom floor!  The Goddess Twins launches for publication today, May 19th. Foreword Reviews calls the book “an impressive, commanding novel about black girl magic,” and “an emotive and powerful feminist novel that inspires the innate goddess in every girl.”

Kirkus Reviews says, “Continuous revelations keep the optimistic tale humming, and the cast is in fine shape for a sequel.”

A few days before their eighteenth birthday, strange things begin to happen to twins Arden and Aurora. Their mother flies to London for a work trip, and Aurora throws herself a party. When the twins learn that their mother never arrived at her destination, hints of magical powers begin to arise in them.

Yodassa encourages everyone to follow her on Facebook, Instagram @yodawill12 and Twitter @yodawill and to share about the book on our social media, tagging her #TheGoddessTwins and with any fantasy, adventure, or young adult readers. She has a newly launched website–yodawill.com –and encourages reviews so that she can connect with future readers on AmazonGoodreads, and your social media platforms and hers.

Yodassa has this about her novel: “Even during a pandemic, I’m thrilled to be birthing this baby. I shared candidly the other day, this novel is a reflection of the beauty I have been searching to find in my own soul, and this is the time for epic self-empowerment, if there ever was one. I truly hope every single reader can find strength from this novel. Or at very minimal, entertainment and distraction from the present.”

So congratulations to Yodassa! Enjoy the release, and then get some well-earned rest.
