News Flash! June 3, 2007

BEA or Bust! Deb Mia won’t be flying to BookExpo American from Hawaii, but if you’re there, be sure to pick up a copy of May/June issue of The Bloomsbury Review, where GOOD THINGS is featured in the full two-page roundup of New and Notable Asian Pacific American titles in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month!

Today’s the Day for Debs! PROMISE NOT TO TELL was mentioned on NBC’s Today Show Saturday morning as one of ten “sizzling beach reads” for this summer!  Here’s the web version of the list.

Debs in Beantown!  Deb Tish and Deb Jennifer are joining Patry Francis of Killer Year (and author of the wonderful debut THE LIAR’S DIARY) for a few events in the Boston area this week.  June 7 they’ll be at Buttonwood Books & Toys in Cohasset, June 8 is a champagne & dessert reception (plus a fun contest) at the legendary Grub Street in Boston, and June 9 they’re reading at Cornerstone Books in Salem — click here for details.  They’d love to see you there!

The PARTY continues! Deb Anna’s PARTY GIRL got rave reviews in IN Magazine and on LAist.com, and Cosmo picked it as one of three “Sizzling Summer Reads” for their July issue. It also got a nice mention on the Urban Muse website and there’s a feature story on Anna is in Vegas Magazine’s June issue. Meanwhile, Fishbowl LA on MediaBistro wishes that Deb Anna had done the latest opinion piece on addiction and recovery for The L.A. Times. We concur.
