News from the 2018 Debs:
Cass Morris is glad to have spent yesterday at the March for Our Lives in Richmond, even if her decision to do so in heeled boots means her ankles are not thanking her today.
Lara Lillibridge did a really fun interview with Rae Theodore on her butch blog, The Flannel Files. She is now nostalgic about toast with sugar.
Kimmery Martin went to a signing and discovered the event organizers had made custom cookies! Best signing ever.
Julie Clark found out that THE ONES WE CHOOSE will be part of a corporate giveaway in partnership with the Algonquin and the Library hotels.
Kaitlyn Sage Patterson spent the weekend in D.C. marching alongside two Westside Middle School shooting survivors; her husband, Cody Barnhill, and dear friend, Mary Hollis Inboden. She hopes you’ll take a minute to read this piece on NPR about living with the trauma of being a survivor of a shooting, and the lasting impact of that trauma. Further, she hopes you’ll take a moment to register to vote in the 2018 elections.
See you next week when we talk about our favorite things.
