About the Me I Wish I Were: A fake bio

Best-selling fantasy author Cass Morris splits most of her time between two homes, a ski chalet in Wintergreen, Virginia and a seaside villa on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. When she’s not traveling the world to appear at conventions, to research along the Mediterranean, or to allow herself to be courted by castle-owning members of the British aristocracy, she teaches creative writing at an esteemed university near her Virginia home. Morris also runs an outreach program to foster storytelling and its attendant creative and critical thinking skills in for underprivileged elementary school students. Her debut series, the Aven Cycle, was the highest-selling adult fantasy series for the past three years running, as well as winning multiple genre awards. Upcoming projects include writing a series of Star Wars novels for Disney, finishing the Seventh Star duology, and shepherding the development of the Aven Cycle HBO series.
